Canon PowerShot S100 Red + NIR

Don't want to spend thousands on professional spectral camera, but still want to get high quality NDVI images? Then you are at the right place.

Converted Canon PowerShot S100 is capable of capturing images in Red and NIR spectrum. The original IR blocking filter has been replaced by a high quality dual band-pass filter to allow Red and NIR spectrum reach the sensor inside the camera. White balance has been calibrated to properly use installed filter. As a result images taken by converted S100 contain poor NIR spectrum in blue channel while red channel contains only Red spectrum and a little portion of NIR spectrum. Outdoor experiments have shown that our converted camera can be successfully used for NDVI applications.
